This is the second course on Hard Starts. The course "Understanding Hard Starts" is a pre-requisite course. The student will learn the intrinsic benefits of installing hard starts in the air conditioning system. Explanations and technical backup will be provided for how they can reduce voltage branch brownouts, reduce stress on a compressor and save energy. Finally, this course will summarize both hard start courses, providing all the tools for recommending the proper hard start for an application.
