Utah Continuing Education for Contractors and Electricians, requirements:

Contractors (5501, 5551) must complete 6 hours of continuing education every 2 years, 3 of which must be “Core” courses and the other 3 may be either “Professional” or “Core” courses.

Electricians (5502, 5503, 5504, 5505, 5506) must complete 16 hours every 2 years, 12 of which must be "Core" courses and the other 4 may be either "Professional" or "Core" courses.

Adopted Building Codes and Amendments

The building codes that have been adopted for Utah are located at the State Construction Code Adoption Act and State Construction Code and approved codes that may also be adopted by local compliance agencies are located at Utah Uniform Building Standard Act Rules starting at section R156-56-701.
