Water Utilities and Regulations for Drinking Water for Pump Applications

Course Length: 1 hour
Compatible with mobile devices.

This webinar will introduce you to the NSF61 standard and the NSF372 standard, as they apply to pumps that come into contact with potable water. We will explore the history of these standards and explain why they exist. Where and when these standards are used - especially as applies to water utilities and commercial buildings - will be discussed. Terminology, including "compliant", "certified", and "labelled" will be defined. Finally, we will look at some sample specifications that may be encountered. This knowledge will help you to make sound decisions on selection and specification of pumps in order to help protect the health of people.
