Alabama Electrical Contractor Continuing Education, requirements:

Licensed electrical contractors and provisional electrical contractors will be required to obtain 14 continuing education hours during a two year period. This period will begin January 1, 2013. You will be able to renew your licenses for the 2013 and 2014 years without having to submit proof of the 14 hours. The Board voted to allow a full 24 months ending December 31, 2014 for you to obtain and submit the required 14 hours of continuing education. In other words, you must have submitted your continuing education hours in order to renew your license for the 2015 licensing period.
